Iribe Initiative for Inclusion & Diversity in Computing

Happy February!

The Iribe Initiative for Inclusion and Diversity in Computing (I4C) and the Maryland Center for Women in Computing (MCWIC). We have a lot of great programs, workshops, and events in store this month. In this month's newsletter, you will find the latest updates about our outreach workshops, programs, and events. We always strive to offer unique and engaging high quality programming for our K-12 community. In honor of Black History Month we are partnering with members of Code: Black for a special event for high school students on February 20th. Save the Date!

This year we are excited to introduce our Iribe Initiative 2021 Summer Academy. The Summer Academy offers our summer programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. This new structure will better support all of our families and most of all our students as they prepare for their future in computing degrees and careers. To learn more, visit: https://inclusion.cs.umd.edu/outreach#camps

As a reminder, due to the effects of COVID-19 all of our programs for Spring and Summer 2021 will be offered in a virtual learning environment.
