Get involved in I4C

Join Rise Up 4 CS+ on Saturdays from 11AM-12PM to prepare for next spring's AP computer science exams! This program is open to all high school students, including those who identify as female or non-binary, who are enrolled in AP CSA or AP CSP.

We accept new students on a rolling basis.

We are excited to offer High School Computing Workshops to students in grades 9-12. on Wednesdays from 4-5PM 

This fall we're providing a dynamic virtual experience for all high school students while engaging in discussions, exercises, and activities in real-world situations. We will also be hosting 2 workshops in October at the University of Maryland's Iribe Center.

Native American Heritage Month
Did you know that Native Americans played key roles during the World Wars? The US Marine Corps used the Navajo language as code to hide messages from its enemies. Read more about the brave Navajo Code Talkers who made substantial contributions to the Allies' victory.

The land you walk on once belonged to Native and Indigenous people around the world. Learn about the significance of that land and its Indigenous ties on the Native Land website. For free lesson plans, visit Native Land's Educator Guide.

The Bebras Challenge (November 7-23) provides fun and free opportunities for students ages 6-18 to enhance their computational and logical thinking skills.

Participants are allotted 45 minutes to complete as many tasks as they can at various difficulty levels.

The UMD Info Challenge Summer Camp 2023 (ICSC23) is now accepting applications for high school students who are interested in solving real world data analysis projects.
No previous data analysis experience is necessary!

This year's theme is Global Change: The Data of Climate Change.
