Computer Science Education Week is an initiative to inspire K-12 students to learn about computer science, advocate for equity, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners in the field. It's held in early December (this year the 6th-12th) to honor the birth of Grace Hopper, a computing pioneer.

Bring CS Education Week festivities to your classroom this year by:

Learning how to introduce computing creatively

Decorating your virtual Bitmoji classroom

Teaching with MIT App Inventor

Teaching your students to code with Hopscotch

Embracing Computer Science heroes

Introduce the fundamentals of CS - without computers

Engaging your school counselors in expanding access to CS Careers

Increasing diversity in computing education
Awards, Scholarships, and Opportunities

Calling all educators (teachers, counselors, coaches, mentors, and others) who support students’ interest in tech! Are you formally (or informally) supporting high school women, genderqueer, or non-binary high school student's interests in tech? NCWIT wants to recognize you for your work!

Apply or nominate someone for the Aspirations in Computing Educator Award
by December 6, 2021:
