CompSciConnect made history!
Explore Girlhood (It's complicated), a Smithsonian Museum of American History exhibit on the experiences of girls growing up in the United States, to find the robot that CompSciConnect alumna, Amber Melton, UMD '24, built. Director Dr. Jan Plane is also quoted in this exhibit.

Are you a high school senior interested in gaining software development experience while working for an organization dedicated to promoting diversity in tech?
Technica, the world’s largest hackathon for underrepresented genders, is launching applications for its summer fellowship program!
In this 8-week initiative, fellows will receive hands-on experience working on a real-world technology project that impacts thousands of users, present their projects during Technica weekend and see it in action amongst thousands of hackers from around the world, build relationships with our corporate partners, and be a part of a supportive, fun, and inclusive community.
