Join Rise Up 4 CS+ on Saturdays from 11AM-12PM to prepare for next spring's AP computer science exams! This program is open to all high school students, including those who identify as female or non-binary, who are enrolled in AP CSA or AP CSP.
We accept new students on a rolling basis.

We are excited to offer High School Computing Workshops to students in grades 9-12. on Wednesdays from 4-5PM
This fall we're providing a dynamic virtual experience for all high school students while engaging in discussions, exercises, and activities in real-world situations. We will also be hosting 2 workshops in October at the University of Maryland's Iribe Center.

On October 1-2, NASA is inviting coders, entrepreneurs, students, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, artists, and technologists to come together in a global hackathon. Over two days, participants from around the world will create in-person and virtual teams to solve challenges using NASA’s open-source data.
No coding experience required. Participants of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to join.

Registration for Technica 2022, the world’s largest hackathon for underrepresented genders, is open! This year, Technica will be held October 15-16th in The Hotel at UMD.
All female, non-binary, trans, and other individuals who identify as an underrepresented gender are invited!

NCWIT Aspirations in Computing (AiC) offers awards that honor aspirations, abilities, technical accomplishments, and influential guidance.
Applications for both the Aspirations in Computing Educator Award and the Aspirations in Computing Award for high school women, genderqueer, and non-binary students are live!
