Exciting News: “Soñando en Color” Joins Dreamin in Color Conference! 🌟🔊 This week brought some fantastic news that made my week. As a proud Mexican and a first-generation American working in tech, I’ve often felt the rarity of finding people who share my background in professional spaces. “Dreamin in Color,” a national tech conference dedicated to Black professionals in the Salesforce ecosystem, has been a beacon of empowerment and community. And now, they’re introducing “Soñando en Color” for Latino professionals in tech. This move is more than just an expansion; it’s a recognition and celebration of our unique experiences and challenges as Latinos in the tech industry. Throughout my decade in tech, being one of the few Latinos in the room has been a common experience. But it’s time for a change. “Soñando en Color” is not just a conference. It’s a gathering of minds, a fusion of cultures, and a platform for us to connect with our gente who understand our struggles and dreams. I can’t wait to attend, connect, and grow with mi gente. 🔹️ If you’re a Latino in Salesforce tech, this is where you need to be. 🔹️ Let’s connect, share, and empower each other. 🔹️ Join me at “Soñando en Color” – let’s make waves together! #SoñandoEnColor #TechDiversity #LatinoTech #DreaminInColor #TechConference #Salesforce #trailblazercommunity #vamosjuntos #vamosfuerte

We are truly building the national blueprint for diversity and inclusion in tech. Generational wealth is the name of the game, and events like Black Innovation Week help us fund that mission. At Be Nimble, we know firsthand what barriers arise when it comes to diversity and inclusion in tech. When you look at the stats, the idea of entering the tech space as a Black or Brown person can make you think twice. We challenge you not to. We know there’s room for everyone in the tech space, including us. It’s why we work hard to provide ✅Resources ✅Accelerators ✅Events ✅Talent development .…and so much more. We’re getting it done because we know we need more of us in this space! We won’t stop until we’ve eliminated every barrier to access and opportunity for people of color. Next time you see a job in tech that you’d give your left kidney for, don’t get discouraged. If you feel that you aren’t skilled enough, head to benimbleco.com to see how our programs can give you the skills you need. If you aren’t that someone, but you know someone who is: 👉🏽Share our posts with those in your community who need the information 👉🏽Volunteer your time or your treasure towards our programs and events We’re here to serve our community in every way possible! We just need the talent to join the tribe.

Black Tech Week day 1( part one) Theme: Content. Connection. Culture. I am thankful and proud to be attending as an Apptastic Ambassador while also getting the opportunity to network on behalf of my own business Kaabei Consultancy. All I want to say is: Your Tribe matters, choose wisely❤️ Some of my take away points are: Dujon Smith: Bridging the black Vendor Capital Gap - Be hyperfocus on who you're targeting, find the investor, tailor your message. - If they haven't included you in their product, make your own. P&G presents: Stepping up Inclusion: Inside, Outside, Sytstemwide - You're not beautiful for a black girl, YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL PERIODT! Dr. Janae Taylor : Mental Health matters - A support system is real, don't run from it, but go to it! - Sometimes we have to let go of our business/work and chill out. Don't forget to set boundaries, saying NO is okay! Detavio Samuels: Effective storytelling (The power of Storytelling) - Storytelling evokes emotions: it helps you understand what the world looks like - Humans should tell story where they see their self in it. - Storytelling is gonna play a critical role on taking us out of the generational curse and get us generational wealth and blessing. My inspirational message of the day is: The fire in your belly got to be greater than the water they gonna try to use to extinguish it! #BTW #BTW2023 #BTWCincinnati

🎮🌟Hispanic Heritage Month: Amplifying Afro-Latinx Narratives in the Black Community🌟🎮 Happy Hispanic Heritage Month, everyone! 🎉 As we celebrate the rich tapestry of Hispanic culture, it's essential to focus on the unique intersectional identity that Afro-Latinx individuals bring to various fields, including the world of gaming. Join us in collaboration with our partners to honor Hispanic Heritage Month as we spotlight and celebrate our members who proudly represent the Afro-Latinx community. Afro-Latinx individuals have a unique intersectional identity, one that merges both Latinx and African heritage. This duality contributes to the broader tapestry of Hispanic culture, including in fields like gaming. Organizations like Latinx in Gaming & Latinx Games Festival are becoming increasingly inclusive by recognizing the contributions of Afro-Latinx members. They are working to break down barriers and foster diversity and representation across all facets of the gaming world. So, this Hispanic Heritage Month, while you're enjoying your favorite games, take a moment to appreciate the diversity and contributions that Hispanic and Afro-Latinx individuals bring to the gaming world and beyond. #HispanicHeritageMonth #AfroLatinx #BlackinGaming #latinxingaming #latinxgamingfestival #Celebrateequity 🌍🎮🎉
