Embracing the whirlwind of technological advances, I often find myself at the intersection of awe and curiosity. The world of Computer Science is vast, and yet, every day provides an opportunity to learn something new, to challenge our understanding, and to contribute to this ever-evolving field. I'm Khaled Hasan Milu, a CSE student fueled by curiosity and a desire to not just keep up with but to contribute to the future of technology. My journey has taught me that the path to innovation isn't linear. It's paved with challenges, setbacks, and learning experiences that shape us into adaptable, forward-thinking individuals. Greetings LinkedIn community! We are Tech for Good, a passionate group of students from George Mason University united by our belief in the transformative power of technology. We're dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, and in our world. This semester, we will be taking on four key initiatives that embody our mission: 1) Workshops and Presentations: We are starting things off with an AI and Social Good presentation at HackFax - The GMU CS Club Hackathon. Additionally, we are excited to bring Introduction to Programming workshops using Scratch to learning centers across Northern Virginia. 2) Hardware Refurbishment: In an effort to bridge the digital divide, we are collaborating with Communitech to refurbish electronic devices. These revamped devices will then be donated to those in need. 3) Campus Cleanups: Building on last semester's success of picking up 160 pounds of trash around our campus, we're joining forces again with the Student Government and other RSOs to continue our campus cleanups. Our commitment to a cleaner environment starts right at home. 4) Projects: We're embarking on new projects that promise to connect and contribute to social good, harnessing the collective power of our ideas and technology. We'll also continue our projects that are in progress from last semester, and rolling them out. Join us on this journey as we strive to make a difference.
