Samantha is an Operations Research Analyst and Data Scientist. She develops quantitative models to analyze and optimize the U.S Air Force Total Force to inform strategic planning and budgeting decisions for the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force. Samantha uses statistical techniques to evaluate the best output for senior leaders and decision-makers. Within Booz Allen, she has consulted in the potential to cross-apply data science to the human intelligence field and insider threat programs; and, she has used higher-level statistics and scientific methodology to measure macro-economic factors affecting military retention.
Samantha specializes in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis of hard-to-reach populations. She has trained Afghans, Bangladeshis, Haitians, and women from around-the-world basic machine learning skills, scientific methodology, data collection, and statistical analysis. Her favorite experience was with D3 Systems and training Afghan women in Kabul how to use statistical programs to code data and manage surveys using programming languages. Samantha has used science, technology and mathematics to evaluate the impact of several programs in conflict and crisis zones. She also volunteers for Statistics Without Borders, Witness Change, and helped launch the Ghana subsidiary of Women Who Code - Accra.
